Outdoor Play

Outdoor play is such an important part of our OOSH program and children’s development. Children benefit in many different ways’ from outdoor experiences. Children gain exercise, fresh air, learning opportunity’s and fun from being outdoor’s!

Every afternoon, we have a group game. The boys usually choose what they want to play, and one of our senior students of the group will lead the boys. Ryan chose, “What’s the time Mr Wolf” for our group activity today.

We followed up our group game with some dancing, This is a new favourite from the boys. After some dancing together, the boys were able to follow up with their chosen activities, including, skipping, bike riding, soccer and nature play.

Learning Outcome: 3.2 Children take increasing responsibility for their own health.
