Today is global hand washing day, it is imperative to recognise the importance of healthy hygiene practices such as washing our hands daily in order to adhere to proper hygiene standards.

Here at Scots College this is essentially important as the children have a clear understanding as to why we need to wash our hands and when we needs to wash our hands, Children are very good at following what is required.

October 15 is Global Hand- washing Day, a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of hand-washing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives. – Global Handwashing Organisation, 2020.
