Chasing Rainbows

A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to see one of natures beautiful creations, a Rainbow! All of the boys were fascinated by how gorgeous it was. After we tried to chase the rainbow, as far as we could we continued some rainbow fun.

The boys created their own rainbows out of any material of their choice. The obvious choice from all of them was LEGO.

During their rainbow creating activity, Hamilton asked “Can I make my rainbow a pattern? Of any colours?” As a group, we expanded on this and went into discussion about how individual all of our rainbows can be.

Oliver then said, “Rainbows make me feel happy.” and all of the boys agreed. Ashton decided to draw a rainbow instead because “drawing and colouring is very relaxing for him.”

It was really positive to see the boys so enthusiastic about nature and how it makes them feel.We cant wait to spot our next rainbow! Maybe we will even find a pot-of-gold too.
