Recycling Fun

Recently, the boys have been putting aside all of their coloured paper scraps to re-use them for another purpose! All of the boys know how important it is to not waste things we they can be recycled!

Today, we finally found a great solution for our coloured paper scraps. We used them to decorate our Recycling bin! All of the boys thought this was a great idea and got right onto the task!

In a small group, the children used their fine motor skills, cutting and pasting to decorate and create a brighter bin for our room. Ryan came up with the idea to use an abstract theme like we had done earlier this week.

The boys worked together really well and demonstrated great teamwork and determination, with great words of encouragement from Ryan and Oliver like, ” If you cut and I glue, we can get this done quickly, together.”

After they had finished, added a recycling sign and some rubbish, they were done and very happy with our Brighter Bin.

Learning Outcome: 2.4 Children become socially responsible and show respect for the environment.
