Last year in term 3, the children got involved in outdoor gardening, we provided the children with fresh soil, water, seeds pertaining different herbs as well as fruit and vegetables.

This week we have decided to incorporate the Woolworth Discovery Garden and sustainability by planting a seed, Amy has been able to collect through her weekly Woolworths shop, allowing the children participate in planting their seeds in their very patch.

The children were excited to see how it is done and enthusiastically completed the task with their very own seedling pods. we then place them in our little pots that the children painted last year.

Over the course of a week we will be monitoring the growth from the planted seeds, once they have sprouted we will be planting them into our outdoor garden, we have fresh soil ready so i am excited to see this ongoing project come to life.
