Rainy day Fun

On Wednesday afternoon the children had an opportunity to engage in various fun activities despite the miserable weather outside. We started off with a variety of mazes to complete, ranging from easy to hard levels. The boys showed great problem solving skills, enthusiasm and teamwork amongst themselves. Mazes are a great brain boosting exercise and increases the concentration level of their minds to a great extent.

As for our S.T.E.M craft, the children explored how gravity and air resistance work together to create a graceful, twirling miniature helicopter. They were given the opportunity to create a paper helicopter from scratch, using precise measurement and design, in order to make it fly successfully! The boys enjoyed dropping their helicopters from different heights, and even challenged their friends to a helicopter race to see who has the fastest one!
