Outdoor play.

As part of our program the children engage in outdoor activities, this allows the children to participate in all sorts of activities, such as sports, playing in the sand, riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline and playing on the monkey bars.

Outdoor play allows the children to also engage in other activities such as playing group games, gardening and coming up with their own imaginary play scenarios.

Outdoor play is essential as it focuses on building their gross motor skills, the children learn to also engage with one another as they participate in group games.

The children understand that sun safety is also an important factor, particularly on hot days where the UV is high, so in this case the children all are given 50+ sunscreen and they must wear their wide brimmed hats before entering outside to play.
