Firstly i would like to welcome all of the children and their families back to Scots Oosh. It is so lovely to see many familiar faces as well as welcoming a few new children to the group, It is really nice to see our new children settling in quite nicely, especially our new Kindergarten children.
This week I have decided to do a easy transition to after school care by providing more of the children’s most loved experiences, such as Lego, cars and dinosaurs. The weather this week has been lovely so we have also allowed the children to spend some time outdoors, with provisions that the children wear their school wide brimmed hats and they apply sunscreen.
This weeks focus has been getting to know the children, i have provided the children with the appropriate provisions to complete their family trees, noting down who is in their immediate families, and they illustrated them quite nicely, this experience allows the educators to get to know our children better. Some of the children have been interested in color patterns and sequencing, so this week our craft experience has been threading with straws.
If there are any queries in which you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact the center or speak to me directly.
Thank you,
Natalia.
