The Children finally got to enjoy some outdoor play time yesterday, due to all the rainfall lately we have been mostly stuck inside, So it was nice to see the children utilise their time outside, by playing a lovely game of bowling.
It was actually the children’s idea to gather the bowling kit from the tuck shop and engage with one another to set up the pins, while they all took turns to knock the pins out.
The children were all having lots of fun and allowing their educators to participate as well.
The key purposes of this experience allows the children to engage socially with one another, reflect on positive interactions and experiences. It also allows the children to actively get involved in part take in physical gross motor skills whist showing adequate sharing and turn taking.
