At Scots we have a worm farm which is located near the boys toilets and shed. Daily the children have been taking turns to add more food scraps into the worm farm. there is usually plenty of fruit and vegetables left over from afternoon tea.

As part of sustainability, this experiences teaches the children that food should not be simply thrown away, and can be used to feed the worms instead, giving purpose to food and nurturing our environment.
