Welcome all families to another week of OOSH. This week we will be focusing on sustainability, the children had a discussion last week with their educator and they all came up with great ideas in regards to sustainability and what it actually means to have our precious environment cared and respected, some of the children informed me that they look after their toys at home very well, and to maintain them they always pack away their toys after use.

We also spoke about recycling our materials, and why we have 3 at our house and what role they play in recycling materials once they are in no longer any of use, eg: the Yellow bin recycles paper and plastic, and so forth.. So to extend on Sustainability the children this week will be participating in play through sustainability, we will be doing collages using natural materials, we will be re-using play dough as they children find extensive interest in molding and playing with play dough. We will also be talking about healthy foods and nutrition this week also.
